A key part of the Liberal Democrats 2010 manifesto was to legalise same sex marriage. Thanks to incredible work by Lib Dem MPs, particularly Lynn Featherstone, this legislation was passed in 2013.
We know that there is still much work to do to ensure equal marriage and LGBT+ rights. We are currently seeking a ban on conversion therapy and will continue to support the LGBT+ community.
