Pounds House sold! Lib Dems slam Labour’s litany of letdowns.

Pounds House

Commenting on this afternoon’s sale by auction of Pounds House for £500,000, Liberal Democrat city councillor Dylan Tippetts said:

"This is a sad day for Plymouth. Despite everything Labour said at election time, we have permanently lost Pounds House, a real treasure sold off.

"More than that, it's been sold off for peanuts. The Central Park ponds project, which is a mess, has currently cost Plymouth taxpayers more than £4 million. Yet the council got just £500,000 for Pounds House. It begs the question, was the sale even worth it?

"Labour's litany of let downs it far from what our city deserves.”
