Liberal Democrats winning in South Hams

Here are 17 of the 19 winning LibDem Councillors elected to South Hams.  Although those elections were in May 2023 it indicates the growth of the party in the area and how LibDems are successfully representing Wards in the South West Devon constituency and on West Devon Borough Council 

LibDem Leader of the council Julian Brazil, also the Parliamentary Candidate for South West Devon in the coming General Election, believes politics works better with co-operation, so his executive is also represented by Green Party and Conservative members.

Julian was the first Liberal Democrat leader elected in South Hams and has gradually forged a successful, winning group that is an excellent model of how collective, supportive government works.
