Changes to COVID rules around campaigning

To reassure residents of Devon over the weekend, you should be aware that the rules for political campaigning have changed as of 8th March 2021.

You may see campaigners out and about in your area canvassing or leafletting ahead of the elections on 6th May 2021.

There are rules in place to ensure proper precautions are taken: campaigning should involve the most minimal numbers required, all of whom should be socially distanced by 2 meters, from each other and from you.

While keeping you informed ahead of the elections is important, you should expect campaigners to put your safety first.
